Nancy Love, registrar, was born in Galveston and graduated from O'Connell High School. She went to Sam Houston
State University for her undergraduate degree in English and a minor in business. She later returned to Sam Houston
for a master's degree in education to become a school counselor. Ms. Love served as a high school counselor for 14
years in Humble ISD. She began working at HSPVA in the fall of 2012 as the registrar and testing coordinator.
Ms. Love has three children, Darcy, Sydney, and Clint, who are all in their twenties now. Darcy lives in Boston with
her two children, Sydney teaches 6th grade reading in Aldine ISD, and Clint served two and a half years with the
United States Marine Corps. He is currently working with a technology company. Ms. Love also has two
grandchildren: Rosabel, born in 2010, and Mark, born in 2012.
In her spare time Ms. Love enjoys crossword puzzles, spider solitaire, watching sports, and reading almost anything.
Most weekends are spent doing yard work because there is always something to be done.
