Several great thinkers emerged out
of Ancient Greece who was
determined to seek the truth, no
matter where the search led them.
- In Classical Greece, there was a
great deal of debate over issues
relating to personal conduct and
morality.
- While some philosophers were
interested in morality, others
focused on the world around them,
hoping to discover laws/principles
that governed human behaviour
and also the physical universe.
- This quest laid the foundations for
modern science.
- Three most important Greek Philosophers were: Socrates, Plato and Aristotle
