After obtaining a Master in Science (biology) and travelling the
world, I obtained a Master in Epidemiology. I worked in Belgium
on short term contracts as epidemiologist. I moved to Ireland to
take up a post shared between the HSE and NUI Galway, to
analyse various health databases.
This PhD project which I started in 2008 is particularly interesting
for me as it combines epidemiology, statistics and biology.
