Grant Management System
The GMS is an online system designed to manage all internal administration aspects of the funding process. System features include a user dashboard with three sections:

A section to apply for internally funded research. This section of the system includes automatic notification of receipt of application and decisions made in
•
• respect of applications including feedback on submissions.
A section to submit and manage externally funded research calls. This section replaces the existing PAF that accompanies all applications requiring institutional endorsement and budget approval. The system includes an automatic workflow from receipt of application through to budget approval, institutional endorsement and proposal feedback.
A manage your project section features a dashboard of current funded research accounts and provides information on specific projects in relation to documentation
• on the project, project staff and students, a user-friendly view of the project budget including expenditure and balance available (RNR* accounts will be imported in to the system in May 2014).
The system hosts a suite of reports on applications and awards and is configurable to meet the research reporting requirements of Schools/Colleges and Research
Units.
Grant Management System

The system is currently being tested by a pilot user group.

End user training will commence in March 2014.
