The World of 3D Animation
Objects in 3D are positioned via coordinates known as the 3 axis (x,y and z). In
Lightwave this represents the right/left, up/down and forward/back. X is used for
both left and right. Positive numbers and Negative numbers denote direction. 0 is the
intersection of the points and it is known as the origin. The following is a diagram
of the mentioned.
