Simon represents the archetypal Christ Figure who is sacrificed for a greater good. It is not by mistake
that Golding depicts him as the only truly good character in the text. Simon is also a Hebrew name;
Simon Peter (Petros) for rock. For each prompt provided, select specific information from the text as
