Wes Tignor
BBA Finance & Accounting - Kennesaw State University
After leaving KSU in May 2009, I started working for Turner
Broadcasting System, INC almost immediately. I started out at Turner in
the Finance and Accounting Intern program, and then received a full
time position as a financial analyst in the fall. While different than the
investment driven analysis used in SMIF, corporate finance requires
many similar and related skills. I believe the finance and accounting
education that I received from KSU as well as my experiences in SMIF
(most notably managing a team and analyzing the market) has
contributed greatly to my career success so far. In addition to my KSU
education, I just completed the CPA exam, which should prove helpful
in many ways throughout my career. I look forward to leveraging my
past experiences and educational background to help further my career.
