By Public Transport By Air Walking: If you are walking from the city centre, go to the top of Eyre Square , walk down passed the Ulster Bank on the right hand side, follow Elington Street around to the right passed Brown Thomas Stores which are located on the left hand side. Continue onto St. Francis Street and at the end of St. Francis Street turn left at the traffic lights, cross the Salmon Weir Bridge and continue right passed the cathedral and onto University Road. After crossing the second canal bridge, turn right into the campus. The Arts & Science Building (Concourse) is ~200 metres towards the river (a large two story 1970’s building). The Physical Chemistry Department is located on the blue corridor. Approximately, half way down the corridor on the right hand side you will see the physical chemistry Labs, Dr. Alan Ryder’s office is located just inside the door of the lab on the left hand side.
