MPI Announces Host Cities for Future Live Events
July 24, 2011 – Orlando, FL – Meeting Professionals International (MPI) has announced its lineup of future
host cities for the World Education Congress (WEC) and the European Meeting & Events Conference (EMEC).
The following cities are confirmed for future WEC: Minneapolis (2014) San Francisco (2015), Philadelphia
(2016). MPI has selected following future cities for EMEC: Budapest, Hungary (2012), Montreux Switzerland
(2013).

said Bruce MacMillan, president and CEO. “By selecting these cities that recognize the strength of the MPI
community, we can continue to elevate the live event education experience by providing professional
development and opportunities to build lasting business connections.”
Previously announced cities for WEC include St. Louis, MO on July 28 – 31, 2012 and Las Vegas, NV on July
20 – 23, 2013.
