Healthy Snacks in Room 313
Each day, your child may eat a mid-morning snack that follows
the District 95 guidelines for healthy eating. Snacks that fit the
guidelines include:
 Fresh fruits and vegetables






Dried fruits
Popcorn
Crackers or goldfish
Pretzels
Granola or power bars
Cheese
Not allowed are:
 Potato chips








Cheese puffs
Doritos
Tortilla chips
Cookies
Cupcakes
Brownies
Doughnuts
WE ARE A NUT-FREE CLASSROOM THIS YEAR
All snacks should be finger foods. Please do NOT send a snack that requires a
fork or spoon or can be spilled. Students may also bring a water bottle for the
classroom but soda, Gatorade, Propel, Crystal Light, and tea are NOT
allowed.***Birthday treats and/or gifts are NOT allowed.
