Snack


I do allow the children to have a snack in the morning. We have students with nut allergies
in our classroom so snacks that contain nuts or that were processed in a facility that has
nuts will not be allowed for a snack. One ingredient snacks are a good idea. Some
examples are fruit, cut up veggies, hard boiled eggs, cheese sticks, meat roll ups, pretzels, or
yogurt.
I also allow the children to have a water bottle at their desk. Water is the only beverage
allowed in the classroom. I do ask the children to bring their bottles home often to be
cleaned.
