Extra Credit Assignment
For this assignment, I will award up to 10 extra credit points for the 4th marking period.
Create an 8 ½ x 11 color magazine advertisement for a small business. The business can be any
of the following:
A jewelry store
A shoe store
A bookstore
A department store
An appliance/electronics store
A discount store
A travel agency
A summer camp
A movie rental business (like Redbox or Netflix)
A computer services/graphic design business
Requirements:
 The business must have a Spanish name
 You must use at least 10 vocabulary words and/or verbs from chapters 7B-9B in the ad
 The ad must be in color – either hand-drawn, computer generated, or using pictures from
a magazine
 The ad must be on white or construction paper only, 8 ½ x ll size. I will not accept a
project on notebook paper.
 You must present your business to the class, speaking at least 4 sentences in Spanish to
tell us about it.
The ads can be turned in until Wednesdsay May 22. I will not accept any after that date.
