Our Youth
LifeTeen/EDGE Programs
Upcoming Events:
We will be continuing to collect items for "Homeless
Packs" until Dec 4th. Our Edge group will be putting these packs together and making
sandwiches for our Homeless brothers and sisters. And, some members of our LifeTeen
group and Core members will be distributing them on Dec 5th. This is an Advent service
project for our groups. Please contact: paduayouth@gmail.com
Edge Nights: Fridays, 6:30-8:30pm in the St. Joseph Room at St. Anthony’s
until our Christmas break.
LifeTeen: Saturdays, 5-9pm. Starting with 5pm Mass, then to the St. Joseph Room at
St. Anthony’s.
Jackie and the CWL for providing food and service to our LifeTeen group
this past Saturday and to everyone else who contributed food to our table. Our Advent
Buddy" project is starting this week for our Edge group. Thank you to everyone who said
"yes" to help making this project possible.

Tutoring Program:

the Opening of the Holy Door
and Holy Year of Mercy,
followed by the Holy Eucharist
on Sunday Dec. 13, 2015 at the
12:30 PM Mass.
This is a great honour for St. Anthony of Padua Parish to have the
Holy Door. Every day the faithful can receive the Plenary Indulgence
when they walk through the Holy Door.
Conditions to receive the Plenary Indulgence:
Confession (20 days before or after); receive Holy Communion and
pray for the Intention of the Holy Father, Pope Francis.
Recite the Apostles’ Creed, Our Father.... Hail Mary....and one must
exclude all attachment to sin of any kind. An indulgence is defined as
the remission before God of the temporal punishment due for sins
already forgiven as far as their guilt is concerned.
The Pageant will be on Saturday
19 December at 7pm.
