R.C.I.A.
(RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS)
(open to young adults – grade 9 and up)
What is R.C.I.A.? It is a process established for individuals (grade 9
and up) to become Catholic and receive the sacraments of initiation – Baptism, Confirmation
and Eucharist. This “spiritual journey” is centered on fostering a deep relationship with
Jesus and the Church he founded. Our classes began on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th. They
run from 7-9 pm. If you or anyone you know is interested in learning more about what it means
to be a Catholic and being a part of this “incredible journey”, please contact Pauline Murphy
through the church office at (905) 793-8030, ext. 102.

What is Eucharistic Adoration?
Understood simply, Euharistic Adoration
is adoring or honouring the Eucharistic
Presence of Christ. In a deeper sense, it
involves “the contemplation of the
Mystery of Christ truly present before us”
During Eucharistic Adoration, we “watch
and wait”, we remain “silent” in His
Presence and open ourselves to His
Graces which flow from the Eucharist…
By worshiping the Eucharistic Jesus, we
become what God wants us to be! Like
a magnet, the Lord draws us to Himself
and gently transforms us.
In its fullest essence… Eucharistic
Adoration is “God and Man reaching out
for each other, at the same time!”
Light the candle before the Blessed
Sacrament:

candle on the Altar before the Blessed
Sacrament in the memory of your family
