On Friday, February 13th, we hosted our
6th Annual Valentine’s Day
Dance-a-thon!

Thank you for helping us to raise over $6,600! The
total after expenses will be available in the Year in
Review issue in September. The funds will be used to
enhance the “mind, body and spirit” of our
students through health and wellness activities and
projects in the school.

THANK YOU to all of council members who secured
the amazing prizes on our list. We appreciate your
time and effort!
We would also like to thank our sponsors, the school
council, volunteers and St. Monica school staff.
M. Manalo was a great DJ, as always! We also
appreciated C. McIntyre and E. Weseloh’s help in
coordinating the prize distribution to the winners.
Also, thanks to Tish G. for collating the detailed prize
lists in Excel and to Luana F., Vilma M., and Sandra
S. for counting money on the day of the event. Last,
but not least, we always appreciate the students and
families who help to make the day a great success!
As we near the end the 2014/15 school year, we
would like to say a sad farewell to Fatima C. (Parish
Rep.), who brought us updates from the parish and
connected with Father Jan. Fatima also held various
positions over the years. We are also sad to say
good-bye to Melanie K. (Community Rep.), who
contributed as a Parent Rep. and assisted with the
redesign, writing and editing of this newsletter.
Both of your contributions will be remembered and
appreciated! We wish you all the best in your future
endeavours and hope our paths cross again!
