Literacy This week we are going to review the following concepts: sequencing, comparing and contrasting, cause and effect, and problem and solution. The students have studied all of these areas, but this week we are going to combine them together. The students will learn how to read a random text and determine how it is structured. Science Birthdays No April birthdays! This week we are finishing our study of seed dispersal. The students will be asked to illustrate and provide a written explanation of how animals help plants. We will then move into studying the life cycle of a plant. A new vocabulary word we will be using is “germinate.” Reminders Please make sure your child wears an Austin Tracy shirt on Friday for our field trip. He/she also must wear close-toed shoes. Depending on weather, your child may need a rain jacket or light jacket.
