GRADE 10 VISUAL ARTS ~ CRAFTS - AWA 20 (Prerequisite: None) This course enables you to develop your skills in producing and presenting art by introducing you to new ideas, materials, and processes for artistic exploration and experimentation. You will learn to apply the elements and principles of design when exploring the creative process. You will use the critical analysis process to reflect on and interpret art within a personal, contemporary and historical context. The artwork you create will reflect who you are becoming at this time in your life. The art of Craft is the focus for this course; we will use a variety of materials, which may include glass, clay, wood, and/or textiles.
