Professional Certificate in Marine Technology NUPI’s Professional Certificate in Marine Technology provides you with the skills and training you need to enter the diverse field of commercial diving. The program includes immersion into surface supply and SCUBA diving, in addition to underwater work skills, safety, and other knowledge to become a professional commercial diver, which gives you the basic skills you need for surface supplied air diving and prepares you for further study. Marine Technology II comes next, improving your skills with 20 weeks of study in one of two concentrations that offer advance training for the major employment areas of commercial diving.
