The 20th meeting of the 8th Senate of the Student Government Association of Western Kentucky
University was called to order at 5:07 p.m. on March 16, 2010 with the Speaker of the Senate in the
chair.
There were 20 senators present.
Absent were Senators Brown, Fluellen, Gafford, Garrison, Horrall, Huntsman, Masterson, Onyjiaka,
Stephens, Stewart
The minutes were read and approved.

Judicial Council
As you may or may not know, we have been working hard for elections
Yesterday was the deadline for finalizing the ballot
Election codes are up tonight to be approved by you
There was a motion to suspend the bylaws to vote on the election codes tonight. The motion passed.
There was no debate. The vote passed unanimously.
There was a motion to move back into the bylaws. The motion passed.
Bill 17-10-S
The author spoke about the bill.
There was a technical question by Kevin Smiley: what do you all do during this conference?
Answer: The kids get to hang out at the farm, get to do the high ropes course, industry tours, tour the art
museum, and just teach the kids about agriculture
The bill passed unanimously.

Answer: This isn’t directly related to Fiji, so it’s not a campus organization.
