Bill 12-12-S. Funding for The 2012 Mascot Nationals for Big Red.
PURPOSE:
For the Student Government Association of Western Kentucky University to
allocate $500.00 for the funding of Big Red's trip to Mascot Nationals.
WHEREAS: The money will come from general senate funding, and
WHEREAS: Big Red annually attends Mascot Nationals and
WHEREAS: The event will promote WKU in front of the entire nation and allow Big Red to
compete against several other prominent mascots.
WHEREAS: Big Red and team will be supported towards hotel accommodations, travel
expenses, props (wood, paneling, nails, paint, etc.), with the allocated amount
from the Student Government Association of Western Kentucky University.
WHEREAS: This event will be held April 12-15, 2012.
THEREFORE:
Be it resolved that the Student Government Association of Western
Kentucky University will allocate $500.00 for the funding of Big Red's trip to
Mascot Nationals.
