Funding for The 2012 Locks of Love Benefit Event
PURPOSE:
For the Student Government Association of Western Kentucky University to
allocate $420.00 for the funding of the benefit event Locks of Love.
WHEREAS: The money will come from general senate funding, and
WHEREAS: Susan Zhou is hosting the 2012 Locks of Love Benefit Event and
WHEREAS: The event will provide students the opportunity to cut their hair in donation to the
non.-profit organization Locks of Love.
WHEREAS: The hair donated at this event will be created into realistic wigs for children who
could not normally afford a wig.
WHEREAS: The money will go towards renting a tent, flyers, posters, and an event article in
'Know U Didn't' magazine.
WHEREAS: This event will be held March 20, 2012.
THEREFORE:
Be it resolved that the Student Government Association of Western
Kentucky University will allocate $420.00 for the funding of The 2012 Locks of
Love Benefit event.
