Motion to approve minutes of February 18, 2009 – C. MacIntosh
Seconded – B. LeClair
Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report – E. Skrlj to allocate $10/student (347 students). A. Gulbinski noted
approximately $300 in expenses remains from our standing commitments (engraving, sacraments,
gifts). A. Gulbinski presented a cheque from the Ministry of Education for $500 which needs to
be spent. Perhaps we could invite a guest speaker for this. A.M. Kurello-McLellan to email the
name of a police officer who will be presenting at her work regarding the use of internet and
Facebook.
Must forego chocolate sales. Economic times would make it difficult to sell. A suggestion was
made that monies raised (ex. magazine sales) be allocated towards a goal such as a play structure
that could be used by the entire school. It would have to be put in a corner of the field. Smaller
items previously purchased such as skipping ropes and balls but these at times do not get returned.
A. Gulbinski asked if there’s anything we can purchase that is Board approved for the paved area.
B. Leclair suggested painting lines for Hopscotch or Four Square. We’ve purchased everything
we’ve proposed and still have $3000 still to spend.
Motion to approve Treasurer’s Report – L. DiTiello
Seconded – B. LeClair
Motion carried.
B. LeClair mentioned that a new session of Kindergarten will be added next year. Twenty-one
were projected but the numbers have now exceeded thirty-four.

BBQ regularly. 3. Each class could do a theme basket for the silent auction. Baskets would be
judged on creativity (or who gets highest bid) and winning class would get a party. Council could
