Look what we did today!
Date: Monday, 12/14
Story: The Gingerbread
Man
During choice time today the
children were able to make an
ornament craft using sticky
contact paper. They look very
pretty on our classroom
windows. We also had a
gingerbread counting activity
where the children had to put
the correct number of buttons
on a gingerbread man. This
activity is designed to help the
children connect a group of
objects to a written number.
The children were also able to
have fun playing in the big
ginberbread houses we made
with gingerbread puppets. The
kids even squeezed in the
houses themselves.
The PM class had music class
with Miss Kleckner today.
The AM class attended
another assembly in the
gym. It was a show about
fables. The actors sang
and danced which really
captured the kids’
attention. The show went
late and we ran out of
time for snack.
