A Peek into Spencer Loomis Fifth Grade – November 15, 2015

Literacy – We are beginning our Nonfiction unit of study.
Math – Students are working in Module 3, however I have two math groups. One group is
building on addition and subtraction. My second group continues to build a foundation for
multiplication.
Earth Science – We continue our study on weather. Last week, we role played as raindrops and
followed our travels through the water cycle.
Social Studies - The American Revolution continues on as we explore the hardships and
successes of the Continental Army.
