The Department of Financial Services encompasses three distinct agencies – The Department of Financial
Services, the Office of Financial Regulation, and the Office of Insurance Regulation. A suggestion was made in the Policy Workgroup Meetings to separate the three entities to help the public better identify contracts related to the entity that they are searching for as well as helping the three entities better identify their own contracts.
Response: We have added a new 5 digit alphanumeric field entitled Agency Service Area that is available to agencies to record their districts, regions, and other location or organizational identifiers.
