CAREGIVER WANTED
A position is open for someone willing to become an In Home Supportive Services

Requirements
 Must be a female, native Spanish speaker
 Must be enrolled with In Home Supportive Services as a care provider
Salary
 Currently, Monterey County pays $12 per hour
Hours
 Client is authorized for 162 hours per month. Hours are flexible, but include
Monday- Friday, 6-8 hours per day, beginning at 9-10 in the morning
Duties





Housekeeping
Cooking or preparing light meals
Help with showering and dressing
Help with outdoor walking for exercise (client is blind)
Running errands to the market, doctor or as needed
Client is ambulatory, coherent and aware, but is still adjusting to blindness so awareness
and empathy for this is essential. Client lives in Monterey.
