Healthy Carolina Health Walk Please join us this Monday, April 11 for the Healthy Carolina Health Walk led by Jerri Spurrier. The event begins at 2:00 p.m. on Greene Street in front of the Russell House with brief remarks by Ms. Spurrier on the importance of prioritizing our personal health and wellness. The route is set to go through Gibbes Green to Close/Hipp and loops back to Greene Street. The entire event lasts about 45 minutes or so. Bring your walking shoes and your friends and colleagues and come out to support Healthy Carolina and Mrs. Spurrier! Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships These scholarships are available to women undertaking business studies who have demonstrated outstanding potential in the field. Zonta International offers 32 scholarships of $1,000 each at the district/region level and 12 international scholarships of $7,000 each. Any woman undertaking a business and/or business­related program at an accredited university/college/institute, in at least the second year of an undergraduate program through the final year of a Master's program at the time the application is submitted, is eligible to apply. The deadline to submit applications to the Zonta Club of Charleston is 5/15/2016. Students may submit their applications to Pam Tinsley at the following email address: 1649treasurer@gmail.com.
