PLASP (Child Care Program)
PLASP is a self-supporting, non-profit community organization committed to providing high quality child care that is accessible an affordable. Since 1975,
PLASP has been delivering reliable, safe and fun-filled care for elementary school children up to 12 years of age. PLASP currently offers programs before school at lunchtime, after school and on P.A. days in 130 different schools in
Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon, Bolton and Etobicoke.
PLASP, with the Boards of Education, has always operated it programs right in the schools. Children are registered in the program at the school they attend, ensuring safe, accessible and convenient child care. Staff to child ratios are carefully monitored in order to ensure safe and caring supervision. To ensure safety and effective supervision, registration for trips is limited to children who are enrolled full-time in any of the PLASP programs. For more on information on
