Outcomes:
1.0 CREATING CATHOLIC CONDITIONS FOR WELL-BEING, LEARNING AND LEADING:by June
2016, the proportion of students indicating they feel accepted by the students at school will
increase as demonstrated by the CCCC School Climate Survey Results.
Outcome Progress Comments
6/4/2015: Students participated in whole school anti-bullying presentations ie., Saidat, One Movement, Police
Youth Officer presentations. These messages were reinforced through a variety of school and classroom activities.
Each month we focused on a key anti-bullying message highlighted through our morning announcements and in
class. We will be further developing these key messages with grade level lessons each month.

Building Collaborative Practices Through Inquiry
Outcomes:
2.0 By June 2016, there will be an increase in the proportion of educators who intend to
apply knowledge gained through professional learning opportunites

6/4/2015: Educators were engaged in a collaborative inquiry focusing on mathematics and growth mindset.
Throughout the year, this new learning was shared with colleagues at Family of Schools Collaborative learning
meetings and networking sessions.

Enhancing Transitional Practices
Outcomes:
3.0 By June 2016, there will be an increase in the proportion of students who demonstrate
improvement on the learning skills and habit of self-regulation.
Outcome Progress Comments
6/4/2015: Educators focused on increasing student knowledge and understanding of the learning skills. Educators
used conferencing and student self-reflection to assist students in setting goals for improvement in these areas.
Going forward we plan to increase parent input on student achievement of these skills in both the home and
school setting.

Knowing the Learner through Assessment
Outcomes:
4.0 KNOWING THE LEARNER THROUGH ASSESSMENT: By the end of June 2016 there will be
an increase in the proportion of students able to articulate strategies supporting their
learning.
Outcome Progress Comments
6/4/2015: Educators and students have worked to create learning goals and success criteria together in order that
students will be able to understand and articulate: exactly what it is that they are learning; and how they will know
they have been successful in achieving their learning goals. We will continue to develop this practice with a focus
on incorporating descriptive feedback which will provide students with a clear direction regarding next steps for
improvement.

Responding through Effective Instruction
Outcomes:
5.0 RESPONDING THROUGH EFEECTIVE INSTRUCTION: By the end of three years there will
be an increase in successful practices that support effective instruction.
Outcome Progress Comments
6/4/2015: Educators continue to increase and refine their knowledge and use of: the three part lesson in
mathematics; and developing growth mindset to support effective instruction. This will continue to be the focus of
our collaborative inquiries.
