Week of : October 13th
Math: This is a very short math chapter. We will continue to
analyze and interpret different types of graphs in class. We will
have our Chapter 2 test on October 23rd. Use our classroom
website to guide you in finding math practice links for home
use!
Language Arts: In language arts this week we will enjoy many
fall books. We will be working hard on our personal narrative
rough copies. There will be no new story this week since it is a
short week. We will also not have spelling homework, but
there will be a Weekly Writing due Friday.
Science: This past week we focused on cold and hot water in
science. We observed a lot of cool things when we put both
types of water in room temperature water. Ask your child
what we saw! Next week we will observe the vials and syringes
of water that we put in the freezer. We are excited to see what
happens.
