PUBLIC NOTICE
Public notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of Lake Zurich CUSD 95, Lake
County, Illinois will receive bids for:
May Whitney Abatement of Pipe Insulation
Bid documents may be obtained from Lake Zurich CUSD Administration Building, 400 S.
Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich, Illinois 60047, (847) 540-4974. A pre-bid meeting will be held
at 10:00am on May 23, 2016, at May Whitney Elementary School, 100 Church St., Lake
Zurich, IL. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is mandatory and a requirement for
bidding.
All bids offered must be accompanied by bid security in the form of cash, certified check
or bid bond made payable to the Owner in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%)
of the amount of the aggregate of the bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a
contract will be entered into and the performance of the contract properly secured. The
successful bidder for the project is required to furnish Performance and Labor and
Material Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid
amount, with sureties to be approved by the Owner, and in the form required by the
Bidding documents.
The successful bidder is required to pay the general prevailing wage for work under this
Contract as ascertained by the Illinois Department of Labor, and shall submit certified
payroll records, in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) and the
requirements of the Bidding Documents.
All bids are to be received at the Administration Office on or before Thursday, June 2,
2016, at 1:00pm. Bid opening will take place immediately.
The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof.
