Ecosystem Project Peliminary Research
Directions: Below I want you to define what an ecosystem is. Then I want you to research on the
computers in partners (1 partner…not 2…not 0) what an ecosystem needs to be healthy. Think of the
environment, the organisms (plants, animals, bacteria, etc), the processes, think of the terms abiotic,
biotic, organic, inorganic, and anything else that is important for an ecosystem to function. Make a list
below, use both sides of this paper for your answer…list as many things as possible.
Hint: you should research both terrestrial (land) and aquatic (water) ecosystems.
