Airship Activity
Overview: As a group, design an air ship on the bottom of this paper. You can make it look how you
want, chose any company name, etc. The two best designs will be tested. The idea is to design one
that will be cost effective and still hold as many people as possible.
Considerations:
 You make$ 100 bucks for each person you can carry on board.
 You have a $10,000 budget
 You can use helium or hydrogen
 Helium costs $80 bucks per person to fill an airship.
 Hydrogen costs $40 bucks per person to fill an airship.
 Helium and Hydrogen both float.
 Hydrogen is a little unstable.
