Maggie Among the Seneca
I think that what they are doing to Maggie is
like taking care of a baby. It surprises me that
the Seneca women would treat a stranger so
kindly. I wonder why they do this and that they
are not jealous of her or they don’t just ignore
her.
In chapter 5, pages 30-34, Maggie is being
adopted by the Seneca. The women are
bathing her, dressing her, feeding her, and
letting her sleep.
