Vocabulary: Dangle: To hang or swing loosely Jump Ring: Metal rings made to connect pieces of metal together. Texture: The appearance and feel of a surface. Procedure: You are required to create one piece of jewelry using at least two different textures (not smooth and polished) and two jump rings to hold your pieces together. You are making a dangling piece of jewelry. While you must have two pieces, you can do more if you choose. Create 5 sketches for your design. Choose the one you like and draw each piece separately. Cut, file and sand your pieces. Imprint your textures: you can use the hammer, sand paper, metal stylus, anything that will imprint a texture on your metal. Polish if desired Put together with jump rings.
