Kathleen Furey Admitted to American College of Mortgage Attorneys
STAMFORD, CT (November 18, 2011) – Robinson & Cole is pleased to announce that the
American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA) has admitted Kathleen M. Furey as a Fellow. Ms.
Furey was inducted during the ACMA annual meeting in San Diego, California.
Ms. Furey is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group with more than 30 years of experience.
She focuses her practice on real estate finance, loan restructuring, and affordable housing issues. Her
lending experience includes representing national lenders in affordable housing transactions in the
New York City Metropolitan area that include multifamily revenue bonds, Low Income Housing Tax
Credits, New Markets Tax Credits, and multiple agency subsidy loans. Her most notable experience
includes closing three of the first transactions under Louisiana’s Road Home program, which was
created to promote the rebuilding of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
