Joan received her Juris Doctor from the University of Washington in 1977, and her B.A. from the University of Washington in 1974, where she was awarded Phi Beta Kappa and graduated magna cum laude. Before joining Lane Powell, she was Senior Counsel for First Interstate Bank. Joan is a member of the Washington State Bar Association Business Section, a member of the Section’s Executive Committee, Chair of the Financial Institutions Committee of that Section.
