OVERVIEW:
For the Panel Discussion presentation, your panel will decide upon a topic of your choice to investigate and present. You may use the brainstorming list as a starting point, but you are not bound to only what is on that list. Your presentations should be a comprehensive explanation of your topic. You may choose to present the following modes of information relating to your topic:

Viewpoints about your topic (Persuasive or Informational)
3.
History and evolution of your topic (Informational)
4.
Current events related to your topic (informational)
5.
Controversial issues related to your topic (Persuasive or Informational)
6.
Things people can do to get involved with issues relating to your topic (Informational)
7.
Details about examples of different facets of your topic (Informational)
Your panel presentation is an INFORMATIONAL presentation, but can include persuasive insights as well. For instance, if your panel selects a controversial issue, you may have two of your panel members each present a different persuasive viewpoint of the issue.
REQUIREMENTS:

Each panel member must speak for a minimum of 2:30-3;00 minutes.
Each panel member must use a technology based presentation aid

If a PowerPoint presentation is included as part of the panel presentation
the panel should combine the powerpoint into one file to be used throughout the presentation.

Each panel member must show evidence of at least 1secondary research source

With introduction and conclusion, the panel presentation must be a minimum of 13-
15 minutes,

Each panel must, at the end of the presentation, open up to audience questions and comments

Audience members must participate in the audience portion. (Graded)
