Student Privacy
Dr. Scheibmeir shared a concern from an adjunct instructor who wanted to ensure he
properly observed student privacy rules while testifying in a court case. Dr. Scheibmeir
was appreciative of his concern and put him in contact with Marc Payne who helped with
FERPA rules.

Continuous Improvement
Dr. Scheibmeir encouraged the vice presidents to continuously improve our processes
used in serving students.

Presidents’ Meeting
The community college presidents’ meeting will be tomorrow in Austin. Dr. Scheibmeir
said he would use the occasion to gather data on how other campuses are dealing with the
Meningitis law, enrollment trends, and the revenue projections for the state.

Enrollment Update
Marc Payne reported that enrollment was flat, with 5098 students currently registered (13
fewer from this time last Spring). Contact hours may be down approximately 5%.
