give CSEA “definite advice” as
to w hat will happen to th e In­
stitution, now a center for tu b er­
cular patients, when it is closed
in the n ear future.
Wenzl reiterated CSEA’s re ­
quest th a t the Institution be used
by some other S tate agency se
th a t the 155 employees there could
be retrained. “ R ay Brook work­
ers have given long an d d e­
voted service to the S tate,” he
said, “an d tlielr experience and
devotion should no t be w asted.”
"W e would like your advice as
to arrangem ents m ade by the
S ta te for th e continuance of em ­
ploym ent for the present em ­
ployees of th a t facility,” he stated.

To prove his case, W enzl cited
the 1957 ruling wherein the S tate
