Family Memorial Day Picnic
Include a good book for each family member
in your picnic basket or when planning your barbeque.
Read with a Friend Day
Teachers will choose a time for
students to “buddy up” to read together.
Wednesday, May 28
Read at the Beach Day
Students bring sunglasses, hats, and
beach towels. Teacher designates time and
place to read—outside or inside.
Thursday, May 29
Teacher Swap Day
Students visit next year’s grade level to
“check out” classroom and listen to a story.
Friday, May 30
Read with Mother Nature
Weather permitting, grade levels will choose
a relaxing outdoor spot for a quiet read
compliments of Mother Nature!
