Shingles (Zoster) vaccine helps prevent Shingles. It is caused by the same
virus that causes chickenpox. The virus stays in your body and can
resurface any time as Shingles – a painful, blistering rash. Even if you
feel healthy, your risk for Shingles increases as you get older.
FREE Shingles (Zoster) vaccine is available at the Delaware County
State Health Center for uninsured or underinsured adults who are 60
years and older.
