WHAT IS BAPNE? Everyone is invited to learn about this internationally recognized method, created by Dr. Javier Romero, based on the use of body percussion and rhythms to stimulate cognitive functions in order to develop multiple intelligences and improve abilities in processes such as attention, concentration, memory, brain lateralization and body dissociation. The word BAPNE is an acronym formed of the words: Biomechanics, Anatomy, Psychology, Neuroscience and Ethnomusicology. By combining all these disciplines, Dr. Romero created exercises that are focused on developing the Multiple Intelligences through teaching body percussion. The methodology also provides resources and tools for people with special educational needs with specific conditions such as dyslexia, ADHD, alzheimers, parkinson, brain damage, cognitive impairment, among others. DR. Javier Romero The creator of the BAPNE method is visiting the United States from Spain for just a couple of weeks, and we are fortunate to have our library be one of his stops.
