In the past 10 Years: grown 25% in FYE but only grown 10% in new square footage
FY08 est.
Sustainability in growth:
reduce, reuse and recycle!
• Improve learning delivery: take advantage of on-line and
blended classrooms
• Examine existing square footage – know your strengths;
then build or rebuild to alter weaknesses
• If ANY space looks or feels ‘underutilized’ examine its
attributes and try to adapt to improve conditions
• Enhance space utilization: classes, corridors, common
areas, exterior spaces – all spaces!
• Improve renovation – advance new square footage ONLY
when the program cannot be accommodated within existing
renovated space

a structured amphitheater for lectures or
