Sun Bae Lim
He received his BE, MS, and Ph.D. from Korea
University, KAIST, and Korea University in 1978, 1986,
and 1993, respectively. He has been with ETRI since
1984, where he involved in the SSM16/SSM32
computer system development project from 1984 to
1989, the CDMA digital communication system
development project from 1990 to 1996, the CDMA3X
system development from 1997 to 1999 and WCDMA
system development for eight months in 2000. Now, he
is working for the high-speed mobile internet system
development project as a director, which is one of
ETRI’s 4th Generation Mobile system R&D projects. His
research interests include system architecture, protocol
engineering, IP based network and vertical handoff
mechanisms between heterogeneous communication
systems.
