Latin Level 2+
Prerequisite for entry:
The course is appropriate for those who have attended Latin Level 2 or have
a very rusty GCSE.
Term duration:
10 x 2-hour classes
Aims and Objectives:
The aim of the course is to provide students with basic knowledge of
Classical Latin and of the main principles of sentence construction in order to
enable them to translate simple passages of Latin prose into English. By the
end of the course, the students are expected to have reached a level
equivalent to the end of chapter 16 of Lingua Latina Pars I, Familia Romana.

GRAMMAR:
