Learning Outcomes: The student will learn the basic techniques involved in an indoor cycling program. This training program simulates and outdoor ride and utilizes motivation and mental training techniques to build cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength and endurance. Learning In Class Activities: Proper positioning and bike set up for a safe and efficient ride, Proper technique and pedal stroke, Breathing and visualization, Increasing cardiovascular endurance and endurance by specific cycling drills, Methods of exercise intensity and components of fitness.
