Tho approximate rolative economic importance of the various groups of farm commodities in terms of cash farm incomo. 2. The long-time trond of production of each of the many commodities producod. 3. Tho rolativo average farm price levels for each of the commod.itios at various periods thu-ing the past twenty years. The farm commodities of commercial ixaporanco in Oregon arc listod in 32 groups, arranged in dosconding order of imporctuoo as sources of cash f ann income during the three-year period, 1936 to 1938. This arrangement is fol- lowed with rcspcot to oach of tho three tipes of data roforrod to above. The tablo of contents on page 1 will assist in locating data portaining to specific commodities. No statistics are included for groups 27, 26, 29, 30, 3). and 32 owing to insufficient data. Sources of Data Except as otherwise indicated by footnotes, the basic data used wore official estimates of the United States Department of Lgrioulturo; and estimntos by the Orogon State College Econsion Service made in cooporation with the agricultural arkoting Service of the United States Department of Lgrioulture, as published in Oregon Extension Circulars 318, 319, 33Li, and 353, whioh were used wholly or partly as basic data for oommodity groups 5, 10, 11, 15, 17, 18, 20, 2]., 22, 2L.,. and 25. !.s some of the basio data may be re-' vised from tirr to time, it is necessary to state that the data in this assembly are ubjoct to rovision also.
