PROFILE: PRINCE CHRIS KALAIYO OGAN
Prince Chris Organ’s senior management experience spans over
25 years and cuts across a breadth of sectors including
property development, finance, civil, mechanical and electrical
engineering.
Chris Ogan is currently the executive Chairman of ChrisMichaels
Limited. A company he owns with a South African
developer. They have a combined experience of over fifthy
years in Property related projects and senior management.
Until January 2009, Chris Ogan was the Managing Director and
Chief Executive Officer of JHI Property Services Limited (JHIN).
JHIN is a subsidiary of JHI South Africa.
PROJECT EXPERIENCES
 Chris Ogan is currently representing Chris Michaels Limited
as the Client representative and Development manager on
five-major Shopping Mall/Hotel projects in Nigeria. These
are;
 The Portal Parks Shopping Mall, Isheri North, Ogun State
is on a site of 15,394 hectares. This proposed regional
mall has Portal Property & Development Limited, Shoprite
and Game Stores as Co-developers. Several line shops
both local and International have signed up for this mall.

The project is currently on hold due the political change
in Ogun State
 The Garki Shopping Mall Abuja Plot 458 Ahmadu Bello
Way Abuja. The site is on 4.65 hectares and will have
Shoprite as the anchor tenant. It also has a hotel and
residential development components. First quarter of 2012
is earmarked for the start of this project.
 The Century Shopping Mall with University of Benin in
Benin City. This development is due to start in the first
quarter of 2012. Chris Ogan is a co-developer on this
Project
 The New City Shopping mall and Park Inn by Radisson
Hotel Asaba.
The site is about 240,000 m2 and located
off the Benin Asaba expressway. Shoprite and Game have
expressed interest to be in Asaba. Construction starts in
November 2010.
 The Theatre Mall & Hotel. This is 54,000 Sqm
development of a shopping mall and hotel by the
National theatre in Igamu Lagos. The project will be
integrated with the National theatre when completed.

SOUTHERN SUN IKOYI HOTEL: Chris Ogan led the
JHI Project management team that completed the Southern Sun
hotel Ikoyi, Kingsway road, Ikoyi Lagos ·
THE TIDES: HE was in the development of
luxury townhouses with swimming pool and clubhouse, in
Osborne estate, Ikoyi.

He is in the project team of BMSL Towers:
An 8 floor office/commercial complex project, at Oniru by
pass, Victoria Island Lagos (HQ for Dimension Data in
the West African Region) - $50m USD –on going

ABULOMA BOAT LANDING JETTY: Completed–
Port-Harcourt development for OMPADEC (Oil Mineral
Producing Areas Development Commission)- in 1995N250 m
·
NNPC TANK FARM: Petroleum products tank
farm in Onne Rivers-State: Completed. In 1996 he
completed all the galvanized access platforms for the
NNPC– N200m
·
FINANCIAL CONSULTANCY: Acted as financial
consultant to Techint Cini Montubi of Italy in their bid
for the Shell Petroleum Development Company $450m
USD Cawthorn Channel Gas reinjection project in 1998 2000.

FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SERVICES: From
1993 -95. He provided facilities management services to

these Nigerian financial institutions, IMB Securities Limited,
FSB International Bank, Royal Merchant Bank and Citi
Bank Limited.

CASHDATA: Co-Founder and Executive
Director of the first credit card Company in Nigeria 1985- 1992
QUALIFICATIONS
Chris Ogan has attended several senior management courses in
Nigeria and overseas. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in
International and comparative Politics from the London School of
Economics in 1982 and a 1984 M.A Degree in International
Studies from Warwick University, United Kingdom.
He also has a 2006 certificate in Facilities Management from
SAPOA (South African Property Owners Association –
/University of Kwazulu Nathal in South Africa
