Teacher is talking about getting the house ready for a midterm. So making sure everything is in place
where you want it to be.
For the roof:
Draw the roof on the first floor so house looks like this:
To connect roof click on the roof then go to Design: Connect: Trim Elements to Roof Shell.
Before making the stairs make sure you find out how much roof you have to place it by measuring the
wall. Its 8’ 10”.
Double click on the stairs icon:
Then decide what kind of stairs you want. I chose these settings:
Make these settings:
You should get something like this:
Now were going to go up to the second floor:
On the second floor make sure you have a floor. If you don’t, you can click on the Slab tool and place
one in. For now I just threw one in and I’ll adjust it later.
Once you have the stairs in place and have the second floor. Then go ahead and put a wall in there by
the stairs like this.

Now if you want to, you can try messing with the slab to show the stairs and create an opening.
